Case Number 1 Unusual Equine Lameness
This difficult, yet eventually successful diagnosis took a digital x-ray to uncover the problem, a shocking find in the hind leg of this Peruvian Mare who presented with swelling and lameness and weight loss as a result of constant infectious swelling and inability for full mobility.

Case Number 2 - Equine Veterinary - Central Alberta
Dr. Juan Garcia  found this filly presented with a wire fence laceration which involved most of the muscles to the flank.
In the evaluation it was very easy to see the peritoneum. Drains and sutures were put to allow the wound to heal.

Case Number 3 - Equine Laceration
This horse presented with a laceration involving the left hind leg. The horse was examined at the clinic and the work was performed immediately as the horse required surgery to suture the damaged muscle and area surrounding the cut.

Case Number 4 - Horse Cut Front Leg
This case was in January and Dr. Garcia was presented with a 3 year old quarter horse which had been caught in some wire. This was a bad cut in the foreleg and was examined at the clinic as the horse had been brought in immediately.

Central Alberta Veterinary Case 4

Case Number 5 - Horse Hoof Deep Crack
This case was presented to Dr. Garcia and it was diagnosed as a very serious deep hoof crack. This crack was causing lameness due to the instability of the hoof, the hoof was going to require an external aid to stabilize the hoof and allow the hoof to re grow.
