Horse - Cut Tongue - Equine
Laceration Case
Dr. Garcia works in equine veterinary
and was presented with a difficult and serious cut tongue on a horse. This was a
very bad cut which almost severed the tongue, it was a broad wide cut that
required immediate surgery. This is a difficult area to work and suture up but
the horse is healing well and progressing nicely as the photos show.
The cut in the tongue was very
deep, and a broad cut.
After examination, it was cleaned
and prepared for surgery.
